Military Honor Guard Service Inspired Flagmobile
Robert served for 13 years in the National Guard. In 2001, he completed a full-time Joint Services Honor Guard assignment at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, where he helped provide military funeral honors for deceased members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The responsibility of handling and folding the American flag for grieving families left a lasting mark on him. It reinforced the value of precision, discipline, respect, and service.
That experience became the foundation for a business built around proper flag care. Robert started Flagmobile with the goal of becoming a flag expert and helping properties replace worn American flags without asking their staff to handle the delivery, installation, removal, or retirement process alone.

Professional Standards That Shape Flagmobile
Robert grew up in Kinston, North Carolina, in a family connected to DuPont’s local manufacturing community. He later worked at DuPont himself. That experience shaped his respect for thoughtful planning, product quality, and customer service.
Robert explains, “I was inspired by DuPont to deliver innovative products and services.”
Today, Flagmobile exclusively uses DuPont™ Artistri® Inks for digitally printed custom commercial flags. Paired with high-quality 200-denier nylon, these inks produce rich color and clear logo detail for outdoor displays at businesses, HOAs, private schools, apartments, restaurants, banks, and town properties.
Flagmobile is independently owned and operated in Plano. Robert applies those professional standards through personal communication, careful service planning, and custom flags that represent each customer’s property well.

Flagmobile began as an on-site professional flag replacement company. Robert’s original model was simple. Deliver the new flag. Install it. Remove the worn flag. Transfer it to the VFW, American Legion, or another patriotic organization for proper retirement.
The U.S. Flag Code states that a U.S. flag no longer fit for display should be destroyed in a dignified way. The American Legion’s flag resources also provide guidance for unserviceable flag ceremonies.
